The Rusty Bumblebee was founded by four families who shared a common love of craft beer and camaraderie. What started as evenings spent together sampling local brews, swapping stories, and dreaming out loud eventually became something real — a taproom built on friendship, rooted in community, and open to everyone.

The concept behind 4 Taps, LLC originated right here in Minnesota — a place these families hold dear. The Rusty Bumblebee is their inaugural venture, and it embodies local pride, deep roots, and the conviction that wherever this name appears, its heart traces back to Blaine.
A Name with Meaning.
Our name pays homage to the Rusty Patched Bumblebee — the Minnesota State Bee, a species currently facing endangerment. Once widespread across the eastern United States and upper Midwest, this remarkable bee has experienced a significant decline, leading to its listing as federally endangered in 2017.
Despite its status, there’s still a chance you might spot this bee in your own backyard. That resilience — thriving close to home against the odds — is exactly the spirit we bring to Blaine every single day.

60 self-pour taps rotating constantly — local craft beers, ciders, wines, meads, hard seltzers, and cocktails. Pour as much or as little as you like. Pay only for what you pour.
Community First
Weekly taproom trivia, cribbage tournaments, puzzle contests workshops, pop-ups and patio parties. There’s always something buzzing at The Bee. Plus our dog-friendly patio welcomes four-legged friends too.
